Artificial intelligence has become an integral part of modern cybersecurity. Today, it not only automates routine tasks but also helps organizations detect threats faster, investigate security incidents more efficiently, and support Security Operations Center (SOC) teams in making informed decisions.

These topics were at the heart of the expert event “Cybersecurity in the Age of AI”, organized by ABCommunication in partnership with IITD. The event brought together cybersecurity professionals looking to strengthen their organizations’ security posture through modern technologies, artificial intelligence, and integrated security solutions.

Throughout the event, participants joined experts from ABCommunication, IITD, and technology partners CrowdStrike, Vectra AI, and Labyrinth to explore modern approaches to building and operating Security Operations Centers (SOCs). The agenda covered the latest threat detection techniques, AI-driven security capabilities, and practical use cases demonstrating how integrated security solutions enhance the efficiency of SOC teams.

The event opened with a presentation of CrowdStrike Falcon as a comprehensive SOC platform. The speakers demonstrated how a unified environment brings together endpoint protection, threat detection, incident investigation, and response, providing security analysts with the context they need to make faster and more informed decisions.

The discussion then turned to the growing role of artificial intelligence in Security Operations Centers. Using Charlotte AI as an example, the speakers demonstrated how AI enhances analyst productivity by simplifying complex investigations, providing clear explanations of security events, prioritizing alerts, and enabling faster, more confident response to cyber threats.

A dedicated session focused on deception technology, presented by the experts from Labyrinth. Through practical demonstrations, they showed how realistic decoys and deception techniques enable organizations to detect attackers at the earliest stages of an intrusion—before they can access critical assets. This approach provides SOC teams with highly accurate alerts, accelerates incident investigations, and helps organizations reduce cyber risk while strengthening their overall security posture.

The next session shifted the focus to network security. The experts demonstrated how Vectra AI leverages Behavioral AI to analyze the behavior of users, devices, and network traffic. By identifying subtle anomalies and hidden threats that often go unnoticed by traditional security tools, the platform provides security teams with greater visibility across their environments and enables faster, more effective threat detection.

The technical sessions concluded with a live demonstration of the integration between Vectra AI, CrowdStrike, and Labyrinth. Through a real-world use case, participants saw how these solutions work together to provide comprehensive incident visibility, reduce investigation time, and enable SOC teams to move more quickly from threat detection to effective response.

The demonstration reinforced one of the event’s key takeaways: the true value of modern cybersecurity solutions lies in their ability to operate as a unified security ecosystem. By integrating complementary technologies, organizations can improve operational efficiency, gain deeper visibility into threats, and strengthen their overall cyber resilience.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, a cybersecurity quiz, and informal networking, giving participants the opportunity to discuss real-world use cases with the speakers, exchange professional insights, and build new industry connections.

We sincerely thank our partners—IITD, Labyrinth, Vectra AI, and CrowdStrike—for sharing their expertise, valuable insights, and practical demonstrations of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions.

We also extend our gratitude to all participants for their active engagement, thoughtful questions, and insightful discussions. Events like these strengthen the cybersecurity community, foster knowledge sharing, and inspire new approaches to protecting organizations against today’s evolving cyber threats.

We look forward to seeing you at future ABCommunication events!
